A large portion of the people interested in cleansing are, understandably, also interested in finding an all-natural or organic colon cleanse. Colon cleansing is, after all, often part of a more comprehensive set of healthy lifestyle choices. But finding a safe and organic way to cleanse your colon isn’t as easy as you might think.
Finding an Organic Colon Cleanse
Health food and other specialty stores may have shelves literally lined with products that claim to safely remove excess waste build-up from your colon. Many of these so-called “natural” colon cleansers also contain tagalong contaminants picked up at various stages of their manufacturing processes.
This is especially true of bargain label herbal colon cleansing products, which are more often than not made using low quality plants grown in overseas factory-farms. Even products that are made with genuinely high-quality herbs are less than ideal for the task of organic colon cleansing. Herbal remedies are great for helping to alleviate a huge range of health concerns, however an organic colon cleanse simply isn’t one of them.
The Best Organic Colon Cleanse
The best way to ensure a truly organic colon cleanse, is to start with a high quality oxygen-based cleanser which is always the safest bet. Although oxygen based colon cleansers are not certified organic, they release monotomic oxygen slowly into the bowel which breaks down and eliminates the built up toxic debris. Oxygen is about as organic as you can get.
Organic Colon Cleanse Tips
Organic Foods — To complement an organic colon cleanse, try eating only healthy, nutritious, organically-grown foods and try to minimize exposure to all environmental toxins for the duration of your cleanse, not to mention as long as you can. Whether you eat high fiber foods or colon cleansing foods, be sure to eat nothing but organic during your cleanse. Not only is this healthier for you, but it will also assist your cleansing efforts.
Plenty of Water — Another important component of an organic colon cleanse, is to have access to plenty of purified water. Most people would be amazed at how many brands of “natural” and “purified” water are contaminated by the time they reach store shelves.) Without water, the small intestine and colon are unable to completely expel unwanted waste and toxins. What’s more, keeping your body well hydrated helps prevent fluid retention and also reduces any colon cleansing side effects you may experience.
Exercise Frequently — We all know that exercising is healthy for you. But, during a colon cleanse, it is not only healthy, it is recommended. Following an active lifestyle can help keep your bowels moving, especially cardio. You don’t have to run a marathon to achieve these benefits, simply go out for a walk around the block while doing your organic colon cleanse and you will be amazed at how much it helps.
